Hey,

to getting started with the simulator there exists a documentation are on the official homepage: https://sites.google.com/site/peerfactsimkom/documentation

Especially the videos there and the “Getting Started” tutorial (https://sites.google.com/site/peerfactsimkom/documentation/PeerfactSim.KOM-2011-Getting-Started.pdf?attredirects=0) should help you to start with the simulator.
